The shutters come out pretty far when they are open so the window treatment needs to accommodate them.

You may want to try a fabric wrapped cornice. Just make sure that when you mount it, you mount it high enough for the shutter panels to swing open under the cornice.
You can either hire someone to custom make this cornice for you, or you can make it yourself if you’re handy.
Without getting too technical, a cornice is a flat board with attached flat board sides that you staple cotton to, then staple a fabric to, and then mount it to the wall.

Blinds, Shutters, and Other Window Coverings

Most households have additional window features in their homes. This is due to the fact that, aside from the light, dusts, and grits, grimes may also enter the house through the window openings. Window coverings provide the necessary protection for these elements.

The most common window coverings are blinds, shades, and shutters. Blinds are commonly horizontal or vertical, depending on the specific window type and size. Horizontal blinds with adjustable slats are ideal for taller windows. Vertical blinds, on the other hand, are great for wide porch windows or doors. Blinds, which are made out of wood, aluminum, or engineered plastics, are generally intended to control the amount of light entering a room.

Shades are generally used for both doors and windows. These can be made of fabrics, bamboo, or reeds. There are four main types of shades – honeycomb, roman, woven wood, and window shades.

Homeowners may choose among these types that will fit and look good with their interior and exterior. These shades are adjustable, providing privacy and light control for any room.

Shutters have long been a traditional addition to home care. Shutters provide both aesthetic and functional purposes to any room. These can be made of wood, polysatin, or other engineered materials. Some shutters are installed for specific purposes. Plantation shutters tampa, for example, work well in warm environments, while polysatin shutters are good for bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas requiring frequent cleaning.

Another category of window coverings that are gaining popularity are shadings and sheers.

These products are made from fabric and offer privacy and levels of light control. Window shadings and sheers are versatile and can be installed in almost any room. These products blend all the advantages of shades, draperies, and faux wood blinds tampa into one design. These work well in both contemporary and traditional settings.

Window coverings nowadays combine both function and style to achieve a sense of harmony. These lakeland blinds, shades, and shutters come in many designs, materials, and colors. Manufacturing plants nowadays are equipped with modern technological processes and methods that enable them to produce a wide range of products. With these current trends, homeowners have more control in designing their windows, and in general, their homes.
